The 2010 Rocket Launch is set for blast off on July 17th at the Plymouth Street Recreation Fields. Scouts recieved one Estes Rocket kit for free with one engine for an initial launch.  Last year, the rocket launch was a tremendous success with only a few rocket casulties. The boys were able to press the launch button on their rocket and watch them fly high into the sunny skies. Most of the boys took advantage of  the extra engines on hand and were able to relaunch their rockets 2 - 3 times.

Additional engines were able to be purchased on site while supplies lasted for only $2.00.  Parents could also purchase one Estes Rocket kit for $5.00 and engines for $2.00.  These were 2008 prices.  Waivers must be signed the day of the launch before any one is allowed an engine.
