September Pack Meeting
Thursday, September 20th, 7:30 PM - Jordan Jackson School Cafeteria
Pack 7 will be kicking off the new year of scouting with a Karate Demonstration by Personal Best Karate at the September pack meeting. Please note the start time has been changed to 7:30 because of Curriculum Night. There will also be information about some of the activities planned for this year.
- Setup: Webelos II (Daly) & Webelos Den 2 (Rogers) - please arrive by 7:15
- Opening Ceremony: Bears - Den 1 (Foley)
- Closing Ceremony: Webelos I - Den 2 (Baratta)
- Cleanup: Wolves (LaMonica Pinheiro) & Bears - Den 2 (Underwood)
Hayride at Lakeview Farm
Saturday, October 13th, 2007 - 11:00 AM
Cost: $4 per person
Come down to Bellingham with Pack 7 and enjoy a tractor drawn hayride Farmer Anthony's Lakeview Farm in Bellingham. The tour starts out by going around a 10 acre pond on a 100 year old race track. The 40 minute ride features acres of corn, melons, squash, pick your own pumpkins (additional cost about $0.30 per lb.), wildlife, and a variety of farm animals. Farmer Anthony's facility also has a farm restaurant, picnic tables, an ice-cream stand and children’s menu.

USS Salem Overnight

Cost: $43 per person
Spend the night aboard the USS Salem, once one of the Navy's most powerful cruisers, and get a taste of Navy life with Pack 7.
The Overnight Adventure offers activities that include simulated combat situations such as radar tracking, damage control and simulated fire fighting. Other activities include scavenger hunts, cold water survival, hoisting, and first aid lessons. Overnight Adventurers get access to areas of the ship off-limits to regular guests. They even sleep in the same bunks used by naval personnel and eat in the same mess decks.

Activity Fee
The first part of the annual activity fee, $20, is due by the end of September. Please make checks payable to St Mary's Cub Scout Pack 7. Payment can be made to your den leader or to our treasurer, Joanne LaMonica Pinheiro. The balance will be due after the popcorn sale ends - the remaining $55 can be reduced or eliminated depending on how much popcorn is sold. More info on the activity fee.

October Committee Meeting

All parents are encouraged to attend the monthly Pack 7 Committee Meetings, held the first Wednesday of each month. These meetings are for planning Pack 7 activities, and an opportunity for den leaders to share ideas. The stronger the involvement, the better the pack is run. Contact Committee Chairman Dick Masison at 337.9951 for more information.
October Pack Meeting
Thursday, October 18th, 7:00 PM - Camp Edith Read, Norton
October's pack meeting will be our annual campfire at Camp Edith Read in Norton.
