Pack 7 Leadership
In order for a Cub Scout pack to operate properly and successfully, it must have a group of volunteer leaders to plan and coordinate all activities and events, as well as handle finances, recruitment, awards and achievements. These volunteer leaders are generally parents of Cub Scouts active in the pack.
Generally speaking, there are two types of pack leadership roles: committee members and den leaders.
Den leaders are responsible for planning and running den meetings and activities as well as encouraging the boys' efforts at earning achievements. Den leaders are also part of the Pack Committee.
The Pack Committee is responsible for planning pack-level events and activities, such as monthly pack meetings, camp-outs, community service, fund-raising activities and the Pinewood Derby.
